I'm unable to digitally sign a PDF file.  How can I do that?


To enable digital signatures on a PDF file, you'll have to set ADOBE ACROBAT as the default program to open PDF files.


To do that:

  • Right-click on one of the pdf files located on your desktop or documents folder
  • Select OPEN WITH --> select ADOBE ACROBAT DC 



Alternatively, you can do these steps if the above doesn’t work:

  • Right-click any PDF file --> select PROPERTIES at the bottom
  • In the pop up window, go the GENERAL tab on the top
  • Click CHANGE  --> select ADOBE ACROBAT
