How do I update the name of a CCTV camera?
To name/rename your CCTV camera, log in to the AWS and:
- Log in to VXTOOLBOX
- Click DEVICES tab on top of the screen
- Highlight/click on the appropriate camera
- You will see a preview of the camera's image on the upper-right corner of the screen. Under that video, click the PENCIL icon
NOTE: DON'T OVERWRITE THE FIRST 6 CHARACTERS IN THE FIELD (C0XX - )
- Enter the camera name after "- " (dash space). For example, "C001 - Lobby"
- Click SAVE CHANGES
Once completed, close out VXTOOLBOX.
